The Philippine Army Finance Center Producers Integrated Cooperative or PAFCPIC (read as puff-sea-pick) was founded in 1981 with a seed capital of only P 7,500 by 15 military personnel and civilian employees of the Finance Center, Philippine Army.
The founding members of PAFCPIC were (in alphabetical order): Maj Ernesto G Abuan; Cpt Jonas B Ancheta; LtC Jose O Barnuevo; LtC Rafael C Cal-Ortiz; Col Rodolfo S Cantor; Maj Nolasco S Matic; Msg Eufracio V Meollo; LtC Jaime S Cortez; LtC Luciano V Directo; Cpt Artemio M Jose; Cpt Ildefonso G Lauz; LtC Raymundo P Luzano; Maj Amador B Mangiduyos; Ms Rosita G Nipa; and Cpt Jose V Sarte Jr. PAFCPIC is registered under the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) under Registry Number MLA-C-356. As a result of dedicated leadership, sound business practices and marketing strategies, PAFCPIC now has 6,317,145,456 Billion peso assets and 86,364 members (both figures as of end-2009) across the country. Membership is composed of PA personnel, civilian employees and their immediate dependents. |
